Tampa Bay is where I am. It is not where the work stops. The bookkeeping is remote, so a roofer in Ocala gets exactly the same service as one in Largo.

Most of the contractors I work with are here. If you are in any of these, we are close enough that a coffee is possible and rarely necessary.

The whole job runs on files, not meetings. You invite me into QuickBooks Online, the costs get coded to the job, and the reports come back to you. None of that improves because I am forty minutes away instead of four hours. Ocala, Fort Myers, Naples, Orlando, Jacksonville, the Panhandle: same work, same schedule, same price.
Being local is not the reason to hire me, and not being local is not a reason to rule me out
What is genuinely Florida-specific is the work itself, and that does not change by county. A bookkeeper in Ohio does not have to know any of it. That is the thing worth buying, and it travels.

Capped by Florida statute, held to the last day by your GC, and invisible in books that fold it into receivables.
1099 against W-2
The IRS and the Florida Department of Revenue both have a view, and it is not the one you wrote on the check.
Workers' comp class codes
Florida construction rates, and an auditor who will move your payroll to the highest code if the coding does not defend it.
Sales tax on materials against labour
Which catches subcontractors who bill both on one invoice, and shows up late.
CILB financial responsibility requirements
They arrive with a renewal and they need books that can produce statements. Financial statements for your contractor licence.

Do we have to meet in person?
No, and most clients never do. Everything runs through QuickBooks Online, email and the phone. If you are nearby and you want to sit down once at the start, that is fine too.
I'm four hours from Tampa. Does that cost more?
No. Same packages, same price, same schedule. What it costs.
What do you need from me to get started?
Read-only access to your QuickBooks Online file, or a backup if you are on Desktop. That is the whole ask for the free review.
