What it costs
Flat monthly packages, and one number for cleanup after I have looked at your file. The package figures are being finalised, so until they are on this page the fastest way to get yours is to call. You will get a real number on the phone, not a pitch.
Three packages, and the difference between them is the job
Same books underneath. What changes is whether the ledger can tell you which job made money, and how much reporting you need on top of that.
Essentials
For a one-truck sub who wants the books clean and current. Every bank and card account reconciled, a company P&L and balance sheet each month, books closed on a fixed schedule, and a year-end package your CPA can file from without rebuilding the year first.
Job Cost — the one most subcontractors need
Everything in Essentials, plus the part you are actually buying. A P&L by job. Costs coded to the job as they land rather than reconstructed in January. Retainage tracked separately from receivables, so the cash you appear to have is the cash you have. 1099-NEC tracked through the year, and workers’ comp class codes checked as the payroll runs rather than in the audit.

For crews, payroll, and anyone who gets asked for a WIP schedule by a banker, a bonding agent or a GC. Everything above, with the WIP schedule kept current month by month instead of reconstructed under deadline.
In every package, whichever one you are on
All of your accounts, not just the operating one
Bank, credit cards, lines of credit, loans. A file where only the main checking account ties out is a file that is still wrong.
Books closed on a schedule you can plan around
A fixed close date every month, so the numbers arrive while they can still change a decision instead of after the quarter is spent.
A year-end package for your CPA
Handed over clean. What your CPA quietly charges you for is rebuilding a year before they can file it, and that is the line item this removes.
No setup fee
Not at any tier. Getting your file into a workable state is either part of onboarding or it is a cleanup, and a cleanup gets quoted on its own.
Job costing is in the standard package, not the top one
Because for a subcontractor it is not an upgrade
It is the reason to keep books at all. Plenty of bookkeepers treat a P&L by job as a premium feature and price it at the top of the range. You bid work job by job, you lose money job by job, and books that only report by month cannot tell you which of those happened.
Cleanup is quoted separately, and only after I have looked
Behind on your books is a different job from keeping them, so it gets its own number. One number, flat, before any work starts. Not an hourly rate and not a range that moves once we begin.

Questions I get asked about price
Why isn't the price on this page yet?
Because the package figures are being finalised and I would rather show you nothing than show you a number I have to change. A price on a website that moves the moment you call is worse than no price at all.
Call 727-729-2185 and you will get the real figure for your volume in a few minutes. The numbers go on this page as soon as they are set.
Do I pay extra for job costing?
No. It is in the standard package. Some bookkeepers treat it as a premium add-on sold at the top of the range. For a subcontractor it is the whole point of the exercise.
What if I go over the transaction count?
I tell you before the month closes, not after. If you have crossed into the next package for good, we move you and you know why. A busy month is a busy month and it does not trigger a bill you did not expect.
What am I paying for in a slow month?
The same work. Accounts reconciled, jobs costed, books closed. A quiet month is when your books are most likely to drift, and it is also the month you find out what last quarter actually made.
Why quote cleanup flat instead of by the hour?
Because an hourly rate makes my incentive the opposite of yours, and because you cannot budget against it. “About forty an hour” tells you nothing until the invoice arrives.

No. I am a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. I keep your books accurate and job-costed so your CPA can file from them without rebuilding the year first. If something needs a CPA’s signature or opinion, I say so and work alongside them.
What does it cost to get started?
Nothing to find out. The file review is free. If there is cleanup to do you get the flat quote before anything begins, and you can say no to it and keep the review.
